Pat joined the Monkey Tail Ranch Board of Directors in 2019.

In the late 90’s, Dr. Grant was the only Veterinarian in her small town of Marina CA; a satisfying way to practice medicine and support the community.

Since retiring from office practice, she has become involved with her local Veterans Transition Program by supporting their companion dog program.

She participated in FEMA’s Urban Search and Rescue program, in many roles including K9 Search Specialist, trainer, evaluator and IST Veterinarian. Pat was deployed to major events with her Search and Rescue K9 ranging from the World Trade Center and the Space Shuttle Columbia recovery.

Pat has always celebrated “dogs with jobs” and enjoys contributing to the MTR program.
